Richard B. Troy, MD
Dr Richard Troy is a board-certified Urologist and has been working at Comprehensive Urologic Care for over 30 years. As he leans into retirement, he will be remotely seeing a select group of patients with specific diagnoses. He will not be taking on any new patients.
Dr. Troy received his B.S. in Premedical Studies, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Notre Dame in 1983. He then went on to obtain his Doctorate in Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago, IL in 1987, and he completed his residency training at the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Troy’s professional interests include Prostate cancer, with an emphasis on the treatment of advanced cancers, and Men’s health and wellness. He continues to expand his knowledge and expertise by attending conferences and meetings related to prostate cancer.
Dr. Troy has performed over 1000 minimally invasive robotic surgeries using the DaVinci. Dr. Troy is a member of the American Urological Association and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
In his spare time, Dr. Troy enjoys travel, playing golf, and running. He is dedicated to setting an example of a healthy lifestyle for his patients by choosing nutritious food options and exercising regularly.
